Due to the worsening pandemic situation in connection with the onset of the coronavirus variant omicron and to ensure the protection of health of the students and employees of UVMP in Košice, we would like to inform you that teaching process in the spring semester of the academic year 2021/2022 begins in the originally announced term, February 7th 2022. However, in attendance form (in person) the teaching process will be held only for students of the 6th year of the General Veterinary Medicine and Food Hygiene study programmes, who have planned block teaching process. For all other students in all study programmes, the teaching process will begin from February 7th to February 18th 2022 in an online form via available means (MS Teams, Moodle) according to the set timetable.
If the situation improves, the university is prepared to switch to attendance (in person) form of teaching in all study years and study programmes immediately. Students will be informed about the change in advance.
University reserves the right to make further changes in the published instructions according to the current development of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 and the regulations of the Chief Hygienist of the Slovak Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic.
