In connection with the beginning of the new academic year 2021/2022, the teaching process as well as the basic operating conditions and anti-epidemic measures of UVMP in Košice will respect the OTP protocol (vaccination – testing – overcoming the disease). To monitor the development of the epidemic and to take anti-epidemic measures depending on the intensity of COVID-19 spread in our environment, all activities will be managed by COVID SEMAPHORE of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. The only safe, fast and sustainable way out of the COVID-19 pandemic is to be vaccinated and achieve the highest possible vaccination rates of UVMP staff and students. Vaccination is also the most practical, convenient and easiest way for everyone to comply with the OTP protocol rules.
Before the start of the teaching process, all students, including PhD students, provide information about vaccination or overcoming the disease (COVID pass) and fill in an electronic questionnaire about their health and travelling abroad for the last 14 days.
